Syrah has always been interested in creative arts & crafts since a young age so it was inevitable that she would have a career in making. After graduating from DJCAD in printed textiles. Syrah devoted her time to expanding her skills & experience by volunteering with creative organisations within Perth, Dundee & Angus.

In 2007 Syrah opened Syrah Jay, to create and sell her own textile jewellery, since then she has developed her designs into more alternative materials such as cork, wood, concrete & jesmonite.

Syrah loves to create something unique and wearable out of unusual materials.
