Franny & Filer is a unique contemporary jewellery gallery, set up in 2009 by designers Frances Stunt and Abby Filer.
We feature a mix of everchanging work by emerging and established jewellery designers, with quality guaranteed.
We pride ourselves on showcasing classic pieces for today's modern living, alongside more quirky and challenging accent pieces. Our collection is brought together in one beautiful and inviting space, offering a haven from the predictability of the high street.
How it began
Fran and Abby met in 2008 working in a jewellery shop and have been close friends ever since. We quickly discovered our shared passion for design and making, which is still at the core of Franny & Filer today. As practising jewellers ourselves, we understand the value of craftsmanship, the patience behind each detail, and the story carried within every piece. What began as a creative vision has grown into a destination for those seeking contemporary jewellery that feels personal, considered, and unique.
Our space
Nestled in the heart of Chorlton, South Manchester, Franny & Filer is more than a jewellery shop - it's a carefully curated space dedicated to craftsmanship, individuality, and design. Our gallery is a welcoming space, inviting you to explore, take your time, and find some stunning handmade jewellery.
This space is also so much more to us as our workshop is located at the back. Most days you will find one if us making our own unique jewellery collections here.
