Rebecca Freya Leetch

Rebecca Freya Leetch is a Manchester Jeweller who brings much of her jewellery to life through experimental play and composition of forms, usually directly with metal. This differs from many makers because she has a non visual imagination (Aphantasia) so as the work is made she sees it for the first time and falls in love with it.  Whether made from brass (which gleams like gold), silver, gems or mixed metals, each piece is precious to the artist and she hopes also to the wearer.  This work is part of Rebecca's signature collection Surface of the Moon, which is inspired by the moon and the sun, Egyptian and Art Deco design and the textures of buried treasure.
