Karen Howarth - Earrings

This is a unique handmade pair of ceramic stud earrings with sterling silver backs. They are made from black porcelain casting slip layered with a white decorating slip and a ceramic decal. The beautifully smooth clay is about 2mm thick and is finished to a very high standard.
Each piece is fired to a high temperature to create a strong yet light and wearable piece of art.
